What came first: the image or the thought?
How are our stories and inner images related?
What colors can be used to convey a certain mood or emotion?
How do text and image rely on each other when we are up to our necks in storytelling?
Is there a difference if an external story brings the image to life, or if it comes from an internal cinema to a surface that can be viewed by others?
Many questions, many answers. At FISE's exhibition entitled CAPACITY, we look at the topic with a diversity of techniques and approaches, we try to look at it from many angles and examine the possible reactions and effects. In addition to more recent works and the newest members, our creators, who form the basis of our association's continued existence, are also included in this special selection.

G.O.A.T. Greatest Of All Time.
The exhibition presents the time Patrícia Harsány and Nelli Szabó spent in Yemen, on the island of Socotra. For two weeks on the island, the creative couple held art workshops for young people at the local university and at the Socotra Festival. The island's curiosity is that it is a kind of marginal enclave within the Arab region, both culturally and in terms of its biodiversity. Traveling to the island is still a relatively new opportunity and working together with the locals, even though it has only recently become possible for certain professionals who are valuable to the island, so this was an exceptional opportunity for them both as a European woman and as a designer couple.
The exhibition will feature his own reflections, presenting daily life in Sokotra together with objects, notes and stories like a diary.
Visitors to the exhibition are welcomed with Socotra honey and Arabic coffee.

Playing through light - exhibition of glass artist Katalin Hermann and photographer Lili Sziráki
Opening: Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 6 p.m.
The exhibition will be opened by: Róbert Mascher, DLA industrial artist, president of FISE
The opening will be attended by: Kriszta Kozma, Bianka Ney and Orsi Szabó
On view: until October 6, 2023, from Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 18:00.
Glass is a particulary independent material. Katalin Hermann does not want to tame it, but to collaborate with this unique medium. Our 21th century world slowly caught up with the process of creating glass, which for centuries has left the master only moments to decide what she wants to see in the glowing, red object formed at the end of the blowpipe. His personality, the medium and the moment is embodied in each of his works.
What kind of glasses do you see the world through? How do we perceive the environment around us? What do we focus on? What filters do we use? What do we exclude, and what do we let through? The current series of photographs by Lili Sziráki is a new, experimental work, in which she plays with different transmissive spatial planes, extracted details, painted and drawn nature related elements in abstract effect images.
One day: Harmonic convergence - exhibition of textile artist Kinga Földi and graphic artist Marianna Lantos
The exhibition will be opened by the ceramic artist József Simon Zsolt.
Opening on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 6 p.m
It can be viewed until September 22, 2023, from Monday to Friday from 13:00 to 18:00
One day: Harmonic convergence
"One Day" presents the contemporary botanical paintings of Marianna Lantos Nagy and the sculptures of the textile artist Kinga Földi, celebrating the joyful, the fantastic and the deeply human. We recommend the exhibition to art lovers who are looking for something special.
Welcome to the transcendent alliance of two remarkable artists, a botanical journey into the realm of beauty, memory, and the profound connection between plants and humans.
Bright and colorful beauty is the leading star of this joint exhibition. Marianna Lantos' watercolor paintings capture the magical essence of plant life. With every delicate brushstroke, she breathes life into her subjects, revealing the awe-inspiring allure of nature's creations. Kinga Földi, on the other hand, shapes silk into sculptures that dance with colors and light, proving the beauty that emerges from the most unexpected materials. Together, they invite us to discover a world where beauty is not just an aesthetic experience, but a deep connection with the essence of life.
Földi Kinga:
Kinga Földi creates objects inspired by nature, but their messages are more complex than being mere natural forms. They talk to us on a deeper human level through a language that we all share: our feelings, desires and struggle. Her sculptures originate from the biological world and are made from silk dupioni using pin-tuck technique. Still, they are not naturalistic creations, but rather creatures and gestures of her imagination.
Nagy Lantos Marianna:
Botanical art is an invitation to a parallel world, where the delicate dance of flora and human souls becomes tangible on the surface of the paper. A passage where Marianna Nagy Lantos weaves a tapestry of beauty and memories. Her artistic journey, like a whimsical expedition through nature's playground, captures this magical connection, turning it into a joyous experience. Through its vivid depiction, we understand that we are not only observers, but also participants in the great fabric of life. Her art is a testament to the fascinating and ever-evolving relationship between humans and the botanical world, and fills our hearts with boundless joy.

Lettering
The material of the exhibition has been selected from the works of FISE graphics - visual communication artists - supplemented by some exciting genre perspectives on the theme of cooperation and boundary crossing of genres along the theme of letters, punctuation, and leaving traces.
The exhibition also focuses on hermeneutic issues on a philosophical level, examining the connections between understanding and appearance, highlighting the relationship between the intention of the communicator and the act of reception - showing the differences between the two, or the importance of visual support that facilitates approximation.
With related professional programs, we can further help the knowledge of visitors and interested parties of the exhibition with professional guidance, discussions, and screenings.

The Erasmus+ program, implemented in cooperation with FISE, is coming to an end soon, and its aim is to support female entrepreneurship within the creative industries, with particular attention to groups at risk of exclusion.
The goal of the EASEWE (ENTRE PRENEURIAL EDUCAT ION FOR CREATIVE SELF – EMPLOYMENT OF WOMEN) project is to contribute to the restart of the creative and cultural sector, which has been particularly affected by Covid, by encouraging the self-employment of women fleeing wars and increasing their employability. We are working on the creation of a training and adult education toolbox that deepens digital competences, stimulates entrepreneurship, and is aimed at acquiring skills for self-employment and business establishment.
The five organizations participating in the project are Alfombra Roja (Sweden), Fundeun (Spain), GrantXpert (Cyprus), Net in Action (Italy) and FISE (Hungary).
Follow EASEWE's Facebook page and keep up to date with our latest news. Get to know an exciting Erasmus+ project in which FISE is participating together with several European partner organizations!
