Usually everything that is objective, brittle, abstract,geometric, unpassionate called realistic, and all, what is an illusion of unloving, egocentric, asocial,heartless subjects. I call all things which are visionary and elusive, concrete and passionatemagical. What we call reality is some kind of a relationship between reality and magic. ” (Béla Hamvas) Inspired by the above quote, I have attempted to reinterpret the special relationshipbetween reality and magic in the collection. In the three-piece series, the flowers andstones of the sea meet with silver in the form of a ring, brooch and pendant. In the researchof the relationship between realism and magic, I have focused on adaptation, surface andtransitions. My goal was to bring the abstract and natural form worlds together by matchingcolors, materials and forms.
